My name is Alana and I'd like to start off by thanking you for taking the time to check out my portfolio! A little about myself...I am born and raised in Michigan. My husband and I returned to the mitten during 2020 from beautiful San Diego to pursue starting a family surrounded by the ones we love! While we really enjoyed exploring all that the West Coast has to offer, we missed the fall colors and making memories with our families. Along with running this photography business I also work in the dental field and am starting a home/real estate photography business. I am a wife to my high school sweet heart and adore being a momma to by baby girl! <3

For me, photos have always been something I appreciated looking back on. In fact, that's what sparked the interest in pursuing photography back in 2013. Over the years I have discovered a love for meeting new people and capturing the many seasons of life. The inspiration for the name came from the Hebrew word, Selah, meaning "to pause and reflect." Life can get so chaotic and we often forget just how much we have journeyed through. Photography is a way to preserve those memories that matter most, with those that matter most!
